KidzKV AI ("the App," "we," "our") is developed and operated by Rajesh Gullapalli. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our AI-powered educational platform on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store).
By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review this policy before allowing children to use the App.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account Information — Google Sign-In
When you sign in with your Google account we receive from Google:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile picture URL (optional)
- Google / Firebase User ID (UID)
b. Account Information — Sign in with Apple
When you sign in with Apple we receive from Apple:
- Email address (or Apple-generated private relay email, at user's choice)
- Full name (first use only, optional)
- Apple-issued unique User ID
c. Subscription & Purchase Information — RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions (Explorer, Scholar, Elite, AI Champion plans). RevenueCat collects and processes on our behalf:
- Subscription status and active entitlements
- Purchase history (plan purchased, date, renewal status)
- App Store / Play Store transaction identifiers (anonymous)
- Device platform (iOS or Android) for billing routing
RevenueCat does not collect your payment card details — all payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
d. Learning & Progress Data
- Quiz scores, topic completion, and grade-level progress stored in Firebase Firestore
- Subject selections and difficulty preferences
- Final Mission and AI Premium Challenge unlock status
e. Automatically Collected Technical Data
- Anonymous usage events via Firebase Analytics (non-personalised mode — no Advertising ID)
- Crash reports and stack traces via Firebase Crashlytics
- Device model, OS version, app version
- Country / region (coarse, not GPS location)
2. How We Use Information
- Authenticate and manage your account securely
- Sync learning progress and scores across devices
- Determine subscription access level (free vs. paid tiers)
- Unlock AI Premium Challenges after Final Mission completion
- Generate safe, grade-appropriate AI content tailored to your selected curriculum
- Diagnose crashes and improve app stability
- Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the learning experience
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

No advertising SDKs or third-party tracking tools are used.

Tracking
KidzKV AI does not track users across third-party apps or websites. No Advertising Identifier (IDFA) is collected or used.

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using Firebase's default encryption.
Users can request deletion of all their data (see Section 8).
6. Generative AI Safety
- AI prompts contain only grade level, subject, and topic — never personal data
- All AI-generated content is filtered for age-appropriateness before display
- Responses are strictly educational and curriculum-aligned
- No child's personal information is ever sent to any AI provider
7. In-App Subscriptions & Billing
KidzKV AI offers the following subscription plans:
- Explorer — Grades 4–6
- Scholar — Grades 4–9
- Elite — Grades 4–12
- AI Champion — Grades 4–12 + AI Premium Challenges
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your payment card details. Subscription management and cancellation is done through your device's store account settings.
RevenueCat processes subscription status on our behalf and is bound by its own Privacy Policy.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Apple Kids Category)
- No behavioural advertising or targeted ads of any kind
- No third-party social media links within the app
- No cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers
- All external links (if any) are protected by a Parental Gate
- AI content is moderated and age-appropriate for Grades 1–12
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
- If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data without consent, contact us immediately at the email below and we will delete it within 7 days
9. Data Retention
- Account data (email, name, progress): retained while account is active
- Anonymous analytics & crash logs: retained up to 12 months
- Subscription records: retained as required by Apple/Google billing rules
- All data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request
10. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data:
- Using the "Delete Account" option inside the App (Settings → Account)
- By emailing us at rajesh.gullapalli@kidzeeai.com with subject "Delete My Account"
Upon deletion we will erase your Firebase profile, Firestore documents, and request removal from RevenueCat within 30 days. Note: Apple and Google retain their own transaction records per their respective policies.
11. Security
- All data is transmitted over TLS/HTTPS encryption
- Firebase Firestore data is encrypted at rest by Google
- Firebase Authentication tokens expire and are rotated automatically
- We apply Firestore security rules to restrict data access per user
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — request erasure of your data (see Section 10)
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing of your data

13. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
